C-diff

I tested postitive for C-Diif.  I was given 7 days of Avaloc and 12 days of flagyl.  One day after finishing the antibiotics I took 3 stools samples and they were negative.  Was it too soon to test?

No that was not too soon and after 3 negative tests you should be fine. If you start to notice losse stools with mucous or blood you need to get rechecked.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear that you had C-Dif.  I had it years ago and it was one of the worst illnesses I have ever had.

I don't know if it was too soon to test or not, but Just wanted to tell you that it is probably a good idea to take lots of probiotics in some form or other.  The easiest is yogurt, but any one particular brand may not have all the kinds of probiotics that are helpful.  The one probiotic you should look for in yogurt or a pill is Saccharomyces Boulardii.  

it is important to take this probiotic on a regular, on-going basis as C-Diff can re-occur.
