What causes lymph node calcification? The calcified lymph node is beside the upper part of the sternocleidomastoideus muscle. I have had ACE and lysozyme a few times above normal. I have had chronic sinusitis, and now I have chronic tonsillitis. Are these diseased causes for the lymph node calcification. I have hypothyroidism (Thyroid Erfa medication) and hyperparathyroidism. Ionized Ca is mostly above normal but sometimes high normal. I have had intermittent pain in the ear area since last March. No ear infection.
