Canker sores and swelling

Hey there, I understand I'm problably posting in a top general category but I don't have much time today and I want to get to the bottom of this. On Wednesday I noticed a small white dot on my tongue sore to touch, very sensitive. And at Wednesday night I had come down with a fever that lasted till Friday morning but on Friday morning I realised I had more of these spots on my tongue (3) and on my lip. Upon further inspection I noticed a swelling or lump type thing growing just before my tonsils making it hard for me to swallow. It seemed to have gone down abit but should I seek help from
My doctor?
