Can't urinate

I have had a hard time going to the bathroom for a few days/ weeks it doesn't hurt I just feel like I gotta go all the time and can't go.  I literally will sit on toilet for hours trying to pee and nothing!  I have gone more then a day or two without peeing!  What could be wrong with me??

Drinking a lot of pop/juice/coffee & tea can cause problems with going to the bathroom.  Your body needs the water to flush everything out & balance everything.  It can still be a bladder infection even though there's no pain... I've suffered from them for 10+ years & only 1/2 the time do they hurt.

Good Luck

Thank you.  I don't know that it's a blockage because I fo eventually go sometimes just a bit and other times a lot.  But I always feel like I gotta go.  I see my GP on Jan 6 and I'll bring it up to her then.  I will watch how much I drink though for sure because I drink a lot of juice/pop/coffee/tea!  Lol.
Thanks for all the help though!

I forgot to add that you should watch the amount of water that you drink at this point as well, if you are not voiding and just holding, you could do some serious damage to your bladder as it can only hold so much. I can not emphasize enough the importance of getting help ASAP, you could have a blockage or something.

Hello~If you have gone as long as one day or more without voiding, I strongly suggest that you see your physician as soon as possible, that is not healthy.
