Chest and side pains

hello first time to ask for online help. I have a pain on my right side above my hip seems to hurt more when i lay on that side, then it goes down my back after a few minutes. This has been going on for almost 3 months now i recently started having pain in my chest. above my breast especially when i take deep breaths i feel like my chest is tightening or twisting in a knot. Thats the best way i can describe it. Im only 37  but not very healthy and weigh over 200. Please help me to figure out whats happening/

Hello and welcome Connilou .Honey if you are having chest pains you really need to see a Dr .I am not trying to scare you but you need to have it checked out .When you have the pain are you really stressed about something ? It may be a panic  attack .I know when I get those it does make my chest tight .I really don't know what could be causing it that's why I think you should go to the Dr .I hope you get to feeling better .

Hello Connilou~I can certainly understand your fears. I have the exact pains at times, but, when I see my chiropractor, he adjusts my upper back down to my hip and this really helps take away the pains. You see, if our vertebrae is constricting nerves, we will have these pains and it sure sounds to me like this could be your case.

Also, if the chest pains does get worse, then maybe a visit to your physician would be in order just to rule out any hear issues, I know so many things can mimic heart attack, etc, but, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

You need to see your doctor right away. Could be lots of things like gall bladder, cardiac problem, kidney infection or maybe only sciatica.
Get it checked out... better safe than sorry.
