Chest pain when I inhale deeply

  Hi!

   Since a little bit yesterday, and all of today, I have been experiencing some things that have really worried me.  I'm only 11 years old, keep in mind, and when I inhale deeply, it hurts/aches my upper chest and lower throat. Only afterwards, but sometimes it doesn't happen. Not all the time does the pain come.  I've been really tired actually these past few days, and have had a sore throat a little. Could it just be a cold?  My mom smokes, so I am exposed to secondhand-smoke. But, I try NOT to breathe it in. I've never experienced this before (My mom has smoked my whole life) and I've had some troules in the past. Not really pain, but minor panic attacks. These happen every few years, and it's when I think I have to think to breathe, and it causes anxiety to me.  Asthma runs in my family, but I haven't experienced any signs of asthma yet, just anxiety. If I might have asthma, can I still do physical activies easily still? Since I'm going to join Ballet, I really don't want to stop that plan because of my breathing. So in conclusion:

   Very Tired
  Hurts to breathe in deeply
Only lasted 2 days so far
Mild Sore throat
I've purposfully been eating less according to a ballerina's diet.
Secondhand-Smoke
Anxiety

Hi!  You might possibly have a respiratory infection.  I would go see a doctor if you can and maybe they can help you more.  It might also be connected to your anxiety and panic attacks, which I also would see a doctor about.  I don't know too much about asthma, but if it runs in your family I would get checked out to see if you have it or not.  When was the last time you saw a doctor?
