Confused

Im 19 yrs old almost 20 and i first had sex when i was 17 yrs old. At first i thought bleeding was normal but only had sex once until i turned 18 and began having a active sex life. And everytime i have had sex since the very first time i bleed. I have been with my new boyfriend for four months now and he wants children and we have been trying and have been very unsucessful in trying. Im not sure if its because of the constant bleeding during sex or what. But also that draws him away because everytime we have sex he thinks hes hurting me even thoug i tell him i feel no pain during sex.  Its upsetting and i have recently told my mother about the problem ive been having because it seems like everyday i am bleeding for some reason for the vag, And i have no idea what to do and now my mother is worried i might have cancer due to the fact that she had to have a historectomy at age 39 because of a tomer. Im so hopeless about all of this that during the day i find myself crying simply because im scared of loosing everything. I dont know what to do. And ive never been to a Gano. and am afraid to.

It could be a number of things.  I would not get all "worked up" about it being cancer.
You need to be seen by a gynecologist.  Are you on birth control pills?

Well, sorry, I asked about the birth control pills, I overlooked the part you said you and your boyfriend are trying to get pregnant.  It sounds suspicious of a condition called cervical erosion which is common with young women; a benign condition.  I would get to an ob/gyn pronto especially since you are trying to conceive.  Good luck.

Hi yang_01

I would advise u consult a gynae. They will run through certain test like pap smear and etc....
My case, sometimes i bleed after sex and sometimes it didn't. It all happens in 2007 Sept when it first happen and I consulted a gynae. The gynae at first suspected it was cervical erosion or cancer and etc...but after tested done it was bacteria infected and when I went for my 2nd test in 2008 it was still another bacteria infection and all the specialist was saying y is it so difficult to recover is due to few factors:-
In our vigina (vagina), its wet and it might take some time to recover but they could not give us how long the duration....
So try going to ur gynae for test twice a year to avoid being serious.

I know tis is hard but I felt the emotion and depression too when after sex I bleeds and mentally you need to be strong and get support from your bf.....

All the best to u and all who had the same issues....
Women are like this......we cannot run away but we can prevent it from happening....

First, get an exam done. Talk to a doctor. If you have no insurance there are free clinics in almost every major city. Visit plannedparenthood.com to find a location. They will do a full exam and tell you what's going on.

Second, what concerns me isn't the bleeding during sex. It's common and in most cases isn't serious. But you need to read this yourself out loud and think about what you're saying. You are 20 yrs old and have been with your guy for 4 months and are trying to get pregnant. Why the hurry? I'm sure there is love between you and maybe it is the type that will last forever but if it's forever then why the rush? You have your whole life ahead of you, things to experience places to visit. I just ask you think about, REALLY think about bringing a child into the world before bringing them into it.
