Could rabies virus be transmitted by this way? am i in danger?
Please pay attention to my story.2 days ago i made a little scratch to my hand with my nail and some blood run out.today i went for a walk with my friend and he touched two dogs that they didnt have an owner but they were friendly both of them and were playing one with the another i dont know if the dogs licked my friends hand i asked him and says he doesnt remember then i greet him and he he touched my hand to the little scratch i did 2 days ago in which a scab was formed.is ti possible for for rabies virus to be transmiteed to me by this way if these dogs where infected with rabies???????
I read that the saliva has to come in contact with the eyes mouth and nose.most people get it if they are bit and most dogs that have rabies are violent so I don't think so but check with a doc anyway
