Drink 6 glasses of water every morning when u wake up.Try to avoid morning coffee, instead you can go for Green tea or Hibiscus tea

Avoid taking diary products, meat, fish, etc ..Avoid foods rich in protein.

Avoid foods rich in protein and have a steady walk every day and keep your self away from high protein foods and keep your kidney healthy

You should really speak to your physician about other ways to lower the BUN.

This is a question that should be addressed to your family physician, as soon as possible, as SassyLassie suggested.

Hello, I would ask the surgeon this question, I am not sure how to go about doing this. My only suggestion would be to drink more water it will or should dilute the urea in the blood.

Good luck to your mom.
