Dizziness, feeling confused, and Gerd

Over the past 4 months I have been diagnoesed with GERD. However, almost exactly to the day, I have had dizzy spells over the past year. Along with the dizziness, there is tension in the back of my head and neck. I have had a MRI- which came back negative and I have had many blood tests which were negative as well. I also recently have started feeling confused at times (its weird) and a shakey feeling. Last week I went to my doctor and they did more blod work (negative) and I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder which was negative. In a couple of weeks I am having the endoscopy test. (Which i am scared about). Also at times I have heart palpitations that scare me. I will admit that I am very stressed out at times due to work and such.

Does anyone have any of these similar symptoms?
What do I do..??

I have felt not resally pain in the left arm but numbness and some tightness/pain under my left armpit. This really *****. I havent been diagnosed with GERD yet but I was told by my doctor that I have acid reflux. This really started to get back after I had a alcoholic drink which also had fireball and caspian oil for heat additive my friends gave me and its the worst idea ever!  totally burned my throat!

I went to go see a speciliest and they stuck a camera down my throat and they saw my throat was really apple red when it should be pink and said I had acid reflux but other then that luckily he said there wasnt any ulcers or something like that. I use to also put a lot of hot additive into my foods and loved spicy things! but that night I had bad throat, left arm numbness, tightness/pain under my armpit, and almost felt like I was going to pass out. Ever since this it has never been the same.

Right now I cant event eat most things without getting a little dizzy, fatigue, if i run or aggravate myself just for a few seconds my neck pulses and its like I feel it in my head, and get headaches especially from harsh foods, and ill get soft stools.! I always feel tired and even if I do get sleep I feel like I can sleep for hours and still feel tired. The only time I usually dont feel tired is in the evening. This has effect my life for the paste year.

Im on Omeprazole 40 MG perscription which is like the over the counter 20 MG Nexium just double that like if you were to take 2 nexium pills. Not sure if it does anything more then what Nexium does.

Which is supposed to reduce acid just at a stronger strength. It may be reducing acid but I still get affect by foods and how I feel. I really need to stop drinking sodas and having fast food.

Does anyone know what you can take to help with this? I also take a spoonful of extra virgin Olive Oil too to help sooth my throat. If someone knows what we can take to help fix this or relive all these symptoms that would be great!

I hate this feeling. It makes my face arms and legs feel numb. But actually they don't. I've had some painless pressure also in my ears and head that makes me feel unbalance or dizzy. Anxiety makes it worse. Hope we could regain or life the way it was before

Hi I am also experiencing similar symptoms, it started getting out of bed one day, I was getting dressed and I felt like dizzy spell coming on so lay back down for a couple of mins thinking that should fix it I must stood up to quick, But it came back on another three or four times just walking around, so I spent the morning just resting thinking it was maybe a virus, but it went on for  a few days so went to the DRs which I don't do very often as I am not one for getting sick but this was starting to get scary thoughts of brain tumours heart issues to name a few were now running thru my head, to be told blood pressure was pretty normal a little high but not to worry they did a ecg  which was all ok so they booked me in to wear halter a 24 hrs so they could monitor what was going on while these attacks were happening, which like most issues went in to quiet mode while I had the halter on then back into full swing the next day, x-ray's which showed lungs and heart to be in good shape.  They come on when I am moving around whether it be walking or doing daily chores, it starts with heavy feeling in the bottom of the throat then breathless then the head rush dizziness like I am going to pass out and have to quickly sit down, I have been asked what if I let it carry on by not sitting down and see what happens but I am worried if I fall I might break something and I cant afford to be broken as well :) as I have a very busy life with work and such, the inconvenience of the whole thing is enough to stress anyone out, not knowing where to turn next to find an answer or a fix for the problem I am 55 years old and have always been the backbone for everyone with the attitude if you cant change it forget it move on, so have found the option of it being stress related very hard to swallow
