Dizziness, feeling confused, and Gerd

Over the past 4 months I have been diagnoesed with GERD. However, almost exactly to the day, I have had dizzy spells over the past year. Along with the dizziness, there is tension in the back of my head and neck. I have had a MRI- which came back negative and I have had many blood tests which were negative as well. I also recently have started feeling confused at times (its weird) and a shakey feeling. Last week I went to my doctor and they did more blod work (negative) and I had an ultrasound on my gallbladder which was negative. In a couple of weeks I am having the endoscopy test. (Which i am scared about). Also at times I have heart palpitations that scare me. I will admit that I am very stressed out at times due to work and such.

Does anyone have any of these similar symptoms?
What do I do..??

I also have Reflux symptoms are wide spread.  From that tearing, heart attack feeling to joint soreness, ear aches and sore throat.    The acid can actually travel into your sinuses and ear canal which can cause dizziness and the foggy out of body feeling.   Many doctors just don't get it but it can happen.   See your ENT and descibe your reflux symptons and they can sometimes help   I take a 2mg diazepam for the vertigo and it helps the anxiety from the symptoms which is also a be reason for the foggy, dizziness.  Reflux is an awful disease. I had the fundulation surgery about 13 years ago and felt great for about 10 years after but those repairs wear out eventually and back come those awful symptoms.   Diet seems to help if you can stay consistent.   I also bought a reflux pillow for sleep.  Wow did that help.   You can get those on Amazon.    Best of luck...

Yes i been getting a similar feeling. It starts out as confusion then into a bad sweet followed by wet sweats then finishes up with the sweat turning to freeze me. I then feel off for the whole day. I can sense when this could happen. I get woken up from my sleeps, I then know the next day will be a bad one with lots of spells. Hang in there I know it's not fun feeling this way. In the brain it leaves me feeling alone, odd, and moody. Please help ANYONE if you have an answer or an idea how to help!!!!!!!!

Chocolatefreak, has the raw honey helped with the reflux?  I took Pylera and Prilosec for H. Pylori bacteria over a month ago and I'm still dealing with the side effects;  weakness, lightheaded/spacey feeling, tingling/shakiness, off balanced and other symptoms that I did not have prior to taking the medication.  Many have improved, but some are lingering, but I'm believing that in time it will all subside.

I have been fighting weakness, dizziness, confusion, memory problems, ever since I was put on meds for an ulcer...3 months I sat around in what I call a comatose like state..returned to Dr.,he took me off the meds,am still not back to normal..did some research,my guess like me,Many people out there, are effected by medications...I found RAW HONEY is like a peroxide for the stomach,as well as other good benefits.. And bananas, herbal teas..I much rather take a natural cure, instead of meds... Well Still not myself  8 months later.no energy, but I do remember yesterday..I thought I was a slow healer, because of  my autoimmune disease..so maybe we ARE A Small percentage of a different type of person..I DID NOT dare try any other type of Pepcid, Nexium..my blood pressure dropped so low,That Alone was SCAREY ...
