Does this look infected?

So i have had this for about a week now and was wondering if anyone could tell me does it look infected? And do i need to go to A&E as cant get a docs appointment?

Yes, the surrounding redness is the sign of infection.

I would go to the ER for some anti-biotic cream, either oral or topical or both. you say it has been this way for a week? It should be better by now, also, have your blood sugar tested, sometimes diabetics do not heal as fast as others.

that is what I did and nothing came up before, but it has now.

Yes you do have an infection and yes you do need medical attention for a antibiotic cream and/or oral antibiotics.  
As you have had this for a week and it does not look like it is scabbing over to heal, do get urgent medical attention.  The red surrounding area also indicates that there is an infection.

In the meantime keep the wound clean and dry to allow a scab to form.  Do not touch the open sore nor scratch off any scab that forms.
