Does this sound like it could be herpes of the throat/mouth?

Last night, I tried oral for the first time on my boyfriend. I'm 100% sure him and I are both virgins and have never had sexual contact with anyone else but each other. Only thing we have done other than this was mutual masturbation.
This morning I took a look in my throat just because, and on the left side near my uvula I noticed a red area that looks slightly raised with a little bit of a whitish look to it (also looks like it could be open??).
Now I know a few days ago I had a sore throat ONLY on that side and I do have drainage since it is getting into allergy season.
But I'm so worried that this is herpes or I could get HIV or something from this! I honestly didn't know I had it and never thought to look in my throat when it was hurting. This encounter happened about 12-14 hours ago.
I don't know what to do.
Let me add 2 things: he did not "finish" in my mouth, there was only precum.
Second thing, the red area in my throat does not hurt at all. I had no reason to look in my throat this morning.
