Feeling Unwell after hot bath

After a warm bath I sometimes feel quite unwell, especially if I decide to do something a bit physical like vacuuming or making beds etc. Happened today, felt hot and just a bit rotten for a while. Took my BP which was quite low - 92/62 i was ok after 15 mins. Am I feeling like this because of the low blood pressure? Is BP that low unusual after a 45min bath? I have never fainted by the way. Thanks.

I always feel a little weak and funny after my bath.-  45 mins is too long in a bath, especially if you are sensitive to the heat and your blood vessels expand. I take a bath for only 10 mins and then go straight and lie down for 5 mins.  Part of life and the differences of our make up.

I always feel down/iffy after a bath, my blood vessels expand far too much and i go dizzy, spin out and my face turns into a tomato. I don't worry about it though, just lie down and rest for a while and it settles down afterwards. Just when you first get out, take everything slow.

My blood pressure has been that low and lower, it is fine as long as you are not fainting or having other symptoms such as dizziness.

One reason why you may be feeling like you do after a warm bath is because the heat causes the blood vessels to expand, and this can even bring on an even lower blood pressure reading, the vessels are very relaxed as is everything else, this is why a hot bath is so good when you don't feel too great.

I am not sure about the hot bath thing, but my bp is always low--90-95 is my average. Occcasionaly it is 87. Some people have low bp. What matters is if you are fainting or dizzy when it comes to low bp. Maybe someone else will have an idea of your warm bath issues. (what is your heart rate after?)
