Fibromyalgia ??

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have taken different medicines and nothing seems to help. Some help me sleep but that's it. The worse thing to me is the fatigue, I feel like I'm exhausted every day all day !! I also recently have something new happening, My legs will start itching then a bruise will appear on my top thigh, not a normal looking bruise but like little purple and black dots. I have 3 now in about the past 3 months. I don't have insurance at this time as my husband was laid off from his job but his daughter works in the lab at the hospital so I asked her to do a CBC and she said it was normal, my white blood count was 9.0 so I'm not worried about leukemia or anything but I am at a loss to what is going on with me.

Hi.  I have fibro myself.  I've never heard of anything like these purple and black dots.  I know what the bone shattering fatigue is like, though.  

For what it's worth, I would encourage you to try posting your question in a couple other forums, too.  I would try the Fibromyalgia forum and the undiagnosed symptoms forum.  Maybe even the Rare Diseases forum.  I think you'll have a better chance of getting your question answered.

I agree with furballsmom, but might be blood thinner if you are on any (heprin, comudin) did the same thing to my forarms
