GALL STONES

why is passing gall stones so painful?
how does it cause the pain?

Gallstones can get stuck in your bile ducts therefore causing the pain.  If you think this is happening the pain will begin in the front just under your rib cage and radiate all the way around to your back.  What triggers them to get stuck is eating high fat foods.  

I had my gallbladder removed at the end of 2009.  I had repeated episodes of the above mentioned pain, finally went to the ER.  They did an ultrasound and said I was riddled with them.  My gallbladder was out a month later.

you cant pass gall stones  only    kindney stones...i just had  my  gall bladder out ..........its pain ful for both kindney and gall stones     good luck
