Gallbladder?

Gallbladder?

I want to know if the symptoms I am having are gallbladder. I have excessive gas, bloating, my right ribs and underneath are hurting and feel swollen. I have dirarea, after days of not going #2. I feel sluggish and sicky. I have no energy. When I eat, mainly staek, fast food, or fatty stuff it seems to be worst the next day. Please help? I spoke to my doctor and he said to just keep an eye out and if it gets worst, to come right in. What can I do to feel better in the mean time? Are there foods that I should avoid???
Thank you, Donna

Sounds like it.  Those are a lot of the same symptoms I had before I had mine out.  Since ultrasound did not show any gallbladder stones my doctor did a scan of my gallbladder which consisted of injecting medicine into my gallbladder then another to make it contract.  He said if it hurt whild doing the scan I knew it was my gallbladder.  I thought I was dying on the table.  2 weeks later I had my gallbladder removed and the doctor said my gallbladder was "sick".  Stay away from anything fatty and broccolli!  I would always have an attack after drinking milk even.  Best of luck!  Ask your doctor about the scan.

Avoid fatty foods and switch doctors. If you are feeling in distress he should take some time to see you. Blood work and a sonogram are in order.

When you push on your abdomen on the upper right side does it hurt?  Much worse than a little lower than that or on the left side?  Right upper quadrant pain is characteristic of a gall bladder problem.  Everyone's symptoms are different, but pain in that area really helps narrow it down.  I wouldn't wait much longer to get checked out.  Gall bladder problems can lead to pancreatitis and other things when not taken care of timely!  Good luck.

When you had your scan was your Ejection fraction normal?  My HIDA scan showed Biliary Dyskinesia with normal EF.  I have no stones.. I just saw my 2nd GI (my first one sent me to her for her opinion as she specializes in ducts, gallbladder etc) she believes mine should come out....how have you felt since??
