Got a cut and arm is numb.

I was wrapping Christmas presents and I accidentally cut quite deep the inside if my arm.  There was a lot of blood and get 6 stitches.  However between the cut and my hand it is totally numb and I am worried about if it will get completely better or what.  It is very uncomfortable feeling numb there!

Oh so now my wrist keeps getting a sharp burning pain when I move certain ways.  I am not sure if it's normal or not for the type of cut to my arm!  I can call like a hotline for this kind of thing I guess.
Well if anyone knows what it would be or could be please let me know!

What happened afterwards, is it still numb, how long until it was okay?

Oh well I saw my dr today and unfortunately I damaged a nerve and we have to see if it comes back on it's own.  My hand and fingers are fine just my skin on my arm feels rubbery!  Hopefully I get all the feeling back because it's definitely a gross feeling!  Thanks for your help.  And for letting me know what  A and E is!

A and E means accident and emergency. i am sorry i did not explain it very well. it means go to hospital who will run some tests. to find what the problem is. if your arm is numb and unfeeling the blood flow around your body could have been cut off. plese let me know how you got on.

Im sorry but I don't know what A and E means?  I have no problem moving my hand and fingers just the part of my arm is numb and unfeeling!

i think you should go to A and E because your blood curculation might have been cut off or it could be very slow. you need to keep moving your hand around and wiggle your fingers to help curculate the blood flow in your hand. if you do not got to A and E soon your hand coud start to change colour, you could get tingling in your hand and fingers and your hand and fingers could get stiff and fell very cold. tell them about the cut how bad it was and when it happened. also tell them how your hand feels and how long it has been like it for. please let me know if i haved helped you in any way and what they said. i hope you feel better soon and good luck
