Got extremely dirty water in a cut, afraid of getting some weird disease

We have this pond in my front yard that has just been sitting there for years untouched. The water is extremely dirty, and overall disgusting. Yesterday when me and my dad were wor,omg in it I took my gloves off to get new ones because mine got wet from the pond water and it was uncomfortable, but then my dad called me back to help him with something in the water. I didn't have my gloves on, but I Hellenes him pull something out of the pond. Then I realized I had a cut on my thumb covered in the water. It wasn't really a cut, it was more of peeled skin. The skin was coming off earlier so I peeled it off but it was red so it looked like a cut. Now I'm afraid of getting some weird parasite from the water. I mean there has to be some type of bacteria in the water. I cleaned the dirt off of the skin best as I could. Should I be worried?
