Growing white hairs near vaginal opening?

I am 21 years old and a few months ago I noticed one white hair near my vaginal opening. It was growing on a part of skin that hair doesn't normally grow. I plucked it that one time and never looked back. Today, I look down and there's almost literally a bushel of white hairs in that same area. Some are where hair normally grow and others aren't. I don't have any white hairs anywhere else and wanted to know if this is normal and how to get rid of it because it REALLY is unsightly.

Special Mom has been thinking since March 22nd. I will start with a couple of basic questions... Are you currently on any birth control and when in reference to you seeing the first hair did you start taking said birth control? Along with birth control any "Plan B" contraceptives? A lot of times when taking or switching birth control it can cause a lot of hormonal changes that can do some pretty weird things. I want to end with anything to do with the body is perfectly natural and there is never a reason to let it bother you. We will just work together to get it figured out. ☺

well, that must have been a little unsettling!  Okay, weird question.  anyone prematurely grey in  your family?  We Do grow hair down their that can be blonde or grey.  Ugh, getting rid of it.  Some color rinse seems a bit extreme.  Clean shave is not for everyone either.  Ugh, let me think about this one!
