HCO3 levels

What exactly does one's "HCO3" refer to in a blood test result?  What's the healthy range for a 17-year-old girl?  Is 26.1 normal, and if not, what would the symptoms be?

26.1 is on the high side of normal for the HCO3, but HCO3 by itself tells us nothing. You need to know what your pH and PCO2 levels are to be able to determine what if any problem there might be.  But yes I agree that you should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

These are arterial blood gases. I suggest you talk to your doctor about all these lab results, he/she will be able to explain everything a lot better than I can.
