Hard, Small Bump on lower right side of head right under skin

i noticed a bump on the lower right side of my head under my skin, and it hurts so bad when i tuch it. when i touch this bump it hurts and gives me pain throughout the whole right side of my head almost like a head ache that comes and goes. i have never had this bump before and im almost sure that it showed up about a month ago, what can this be and is it dangerous?

It could be a cyst that's close to a nerve. My sister in law gets those sometimes and she just goes to the doctor and gets them drained. They can get pretty big.
