I am not familiar with Saridon, but like you said, it is a medication, and medications have side effects. It would be better to take a supplement.
Magnesium is a supplement that could help with migraines. It is to be taken daily, as it has to be built in your system. Please search Magnesium for headaches. The bottle would say take 3 caps a day.. I use Mg Glycinate as it does not cause diarrhea like other kinds of Mg will do. Everyone needs Mg more so than calcium. You also need to take it with Vit. D3 and Vit complex .Good luck.
Any prolonged use of prescription medicine is not beneficial for your overall health. I understand how its necessary to relieve the pain but your really just masking the problem and whos to say it wont manifest into something more serious later in life??
Having a balanced, health diet can always help with things like this. If your consuming a lot of processed food on a regular basis your body could very likely be in a pro-inflammatory state contributing to headaches. Another common cause of headaches is muscle tightness (tension headaches). The typical presentation of tension head aches is pain in a "question mark" pattern starting behind the ear traveling above the up around the ear/scalp to the temple. On the off chance thats where you have the headache pain chiropractic adjustment/massage can easily relieve these issues.
