Whats the difference between skin tags and genital warts

Skin tags are harmless little "tags" of skin that usually develop where your clothing rubs against your body. They start out tiny and can potentially grow big enough that you need to have them removed.  

Genital warts grow on and near the genitals and are caused by a sexually transmitted virus.  The virus is called Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) It is contagious and has been linked to some cancers.

If you have small growths on or near your genitals, you'll definitely want to see a doctor who can determine what they are.
