Have you been drinking alcohol a lot or every day? Have you been taking too much Tylenol? Are you drinking alcohol and taking Tylenol at the same time? Both of these things individually will cause your liver enzymes to go up... Do them together and they'll really go up. Lay off all alcohol. If neither of these things apply to you, post again with these answers and we'll revisit the problem. It doesn't take long for the enzymes to go down once the problem is removed.

I am surprised that your doctor didn't tell you what you should be doing to help your fatty liver to get better.

My doctor advised me to stop drinking alcohol.  But as I do not drink a lot of alcohol only no and then in moderation, he then said it is to do with my weight.

So going on that I would say that if you do drink a lot of alcohol, cut it out completely or reduced your intake to the recommended daily unit measurement for men and women - you should find the details of this on the web.

If you are overweight or have a very fatty diet, then eat a healthy and well balanced diet with fresh fruit and vegetables, cut down on fatty meat.  Chicken, pork, turkey and fish are considered more healthy options to red meat like beef.  Instead of frying, use alternative methods of cooking or use small amounts of olive oil.

Cut out or cut down on processed foods and refined carbohydrates, like white bread, cakes, biscuits, sweets.

Do some for of exercise that is suitable for your ability and drink water so that you do not become dehydrated.
