Horrible Unexplained Abdomen Pain

I was reading back to the heartburn/stomach pain @ menstrual time. I am 39 and a personal trainer. I eat clean and work out 5-6 days a week. I have no children. I woke up one morning and looked 4 months pregnant with severe pain (this was 3 months ago). I have been through many test including an endoscopy to take bioposies of my stomach. Everything normal; aside from a rather smaller fibroid which "wouldn't be causing this pain". I have eliminated gluten, dairy, false sugars etc.. I noticed it gets excruciating right before period time. Gallbladder ruled out. Stools are tarry. Stress is high for sure so if this is stress WOW..... I don't know what to do. I have tried the medicine prescribed which was a horrible antibiotic which side effects were worse than what this. Supposedly it was to kill only the bad bacteria in my stomach??? Hmmmmm....
I cant even wear the gym attire I use to. It is all around my abdomen. My body fat is fairly low, but my stomach is now noticeably distended. I am almost wondering if the pain is from me sucking in all the time. Please if anyone knows anything about this let me know! It would be a breath of fresh air.
Also- my weight has climbed 15 lbs with NO changes in diet or exercise.

There are so many herbs including fruits that can be used for providing relief to your symptoms. I hate antibiotics. Although they might be necessary at times but I think they cause more harm than the help. I think you must get Indian Gooseberry and take it early in the morning on an empty stomach.

I think pro biotoics are good. Do some research and compare your symptoms with the IBS that is usually hard to detect.

I have had severe stomach bloating from constipation with my periods, I would double up with pain and swell like watermelon even though I had a flat stomach. I transformed during my period into something awful.lol .I couldn't go to school or later work,  I was just a ball, left crying in bed.  My sister asked me if I was constipated during my periods.. Thats how I figured it out.  So I'd take laxatives whenever I started having symptoms and- it helped tremendously. Then yrs later I was dx with endometriosis and they said some of my swelling came from that they even removed my appendix bc the endometriosis was causing it to rupture. They told me that endometrial tissue can travel everywhere in your body, even to your brain. It will swell and bleed every period no matter where it located! I had a severe case. I was pretty much incapacitated with it. They said its a good thing you had 4 kids,  if not,  it would have been much worse for you. I'd check it out if I were you. Good luck!

Hello,

I would see another doctor, preferably, a gyn. This is not normal. I would say that another Ultra sound is in order to see if the fibroid has grown, do you have a history of ovarian cysts?

Also, it looks like your "friendly " bacteria is absent from your system due to the antibiotics. Try taking a good, high potency "Probiotic" supplement, this might even help with the bloating and other stomach issues you are having.

As to holding your tummy in, yes, it can cause some pain, but, it sounds like you are in pretty good shape, so, this should not be an issue.
