I had chronic urinary infections and they were gonna put me on permanent antibiotics too, but then I found out from a NUrse Practitioner, that high doses of vitamin C prevent the urinary infections, and I have never had one since. I seriously think you should try it and get off those antibiotics. The dose you need is to start taking 4000mg of vitamin C in the AM and 2000mg at night, and do that for 4 days. then switch to 2000mg twice a day. Then stop the antibiotic and keep taking the vit c. have your urine tested after a week or so, and you will see it is gone. The rash could be from a reactio to the antibiotic. The symptoms of shaky legs and pass out feeling- does sound like you could have a low blood sugar at those times (one possibility). Try drinking orange juice when that happens and if it workd, you will know. If it is low blood sugar (which I also have a problem with), you just have to start eating a balnced diet with not too much sugar at one time. Always have snacks available or juice for those times.
As far as the chest pains, could be diferent things, but I just had the flu, and have real bad chest pains. They said I got Pneumonia but I have no cough at all. Just chest pain, dizziness, faintness, and low grade fevers (I had high fevers for 3 days). Could you have a slight flu?
Most of all, get rid of those antibiotics (with vit c), and then see how you feel. Try treating the shakiness with orange juice. These may sound silly- but trust me. I had severe UTI's and now have none with no antibiotics.
This could be hormonal related, I would ask for some hormone levels in the form of blood work or the saliva test, sometimes when our progesterone or estrogen is out of whack, we will have these symptoms.
How is your blood sugar level ? Low blood sugar Hypoglycemia can give you some of the symptoms check it out ..
never-mind about the PID I just read about it and I have none of those symptoms nor am I sexually active.. either way I guess I will try the gyno any way...
I considered the iron thing but it's not low enough to cause me to feel the way I do. Plus I do take multivitamins every day.. They have taken all the blood tests and urin tests possible and I'm apparently perfectly healthy to them.
I did just get a good suggestion from a friend to see a gyno to check to see if it's pelvic inflammatory disease..
You could be low on iron if your feeling weak but it does'nt explain your other symptoms. Has your Dr done any other testing on you besides your iron? Like thyroid, blood sugar, blood cell counts, vitamin levels. I would ask for more testing and if your Dr refuses then find another one who will. Take care. Remar
