I have a lot of symptoms, and it has gone undiagnosed for 9+months now.

I know they say to never even go on the internet to get medical advice, but conventional medicine has completely failed me. Here is a rundown of my sympstoms, and a timeline of when they started. I am a 32 year old man with 0 previous medical problems.

1. Late February I woke up with a bad stiff neck. This happens fairly often if I sleep on it wrong or whatever, but it has never completely gone away and it still hurts a little to this day.

2. Early March I started getting dizzy spells and overall lightheadedness. If I treid to exert myself with anything physical, I would come close to passing out.

3. Still March, I start getting muscle spasms under my left eye. Happened about 2 or 3 times an hour, sometimes more, and I could make it do it when I "winked" my eye. These muscle spasms eventually spread to my right eye as well, and started making my eyelids twitch especially.

4. These muscle spasms then spread all over my body. Rib area, back, feet, legs, etc. I still get them to this day.

5. Late March my legs get extremely weak and my knees start hurting when I bend them. I basically can't do anything at this point. I just feel terrible. I have constant dizziness, my head feels completely pressurized. I am having a hard time thinking or doing just about anything.

6. Still March, I see the doctor for the first time. They don't really have any answers for me. But they decide to give me cortico-steroids to see if something in my head is inflamed or something. I did not notice any effect from them at all. The morning after I took them, I woke up with pretty loud Tinnitus which seems to be only in my left ear. I still have the Tinnitus now, its extremely annoying. They also have me take a bloodtest. Everything was normal except my Vitamin D was pretty low. I have since been taking Vitamin D supplements everyday.

7. April I go back to the doctor and tell them nothing has really changed. They send me to a neurologist, who then has me go have a Brain MRI and MRA(with and without contrast), mostly for the dizziness and Tinnitus. MRI and MRA come back normal. More blood tests from Neurologist, all comes back normal as well.

8. May, my left thumb joint starts hurting for no apparent reason. Never goes away. Also my teeth are starting to feel funny, and are shifting around and moving if I chew something hard or chewy. I can't actually feel them moving with my fingers, but I can feel it inside my mouth.

9. June, my left thumb still hurts, and its worse than ever, I can barley use it to pick anything up. Figure it might be fractured or something, I go see a hand specialist, who has me have an MRI done on my hand. Comes back as a completely torn ligament. Nothing can really be done, puts it in a cast and lets it try to heal. I never had any injury to cause the tear.

10. August. cast comes off, thumb still hurts, but its usable. It still hurts now, but only when I put pressure it on it.

11. September, I go back to my priimary care doctor and she says it could be Lyme Disease, so I do 2 tests. A blood test that came back negative, and a Urine test which came back negative except for the bacteria "Ehrlichia Chaffeensis". She tells me she's "shocked" that I didnt have all the other Lyme Disease bacterias with all my symptoms, and puts me on Doxy (antibiotics) for 3 weeks and that I should see a cash only Lyme Disease specialist. I really do not want to.

It's now October, and I feel about 50% better than I did in March. I can think straight again, and the head pressure is gone. This went away before the 3 weeks of antibiotics. I have not noticed any difference with them.

My neck pain is still there. I can't really exert myself with the dizziness and lightheadedness. The most annoying thing is the Tinnitus. I am thinking about seeing an ENT for it, but so far no one has had any answers for me, so I feel like it will be a waste of time and money.

Current Symptoms:

1. Dizziness/Lightheadness, always, but especially when exercising or working on something that requires exertion.

2. Muscle spasms all over my body, especially around my eyes.

3. Loud tinnitus in my left ear.

4. Thumb pain, and neck pain

I am sure I have forgot somethings, here, it has been a long time with this now. Any help on what I should do next will be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you still taking the Vitamin D?
Is it D3 or D2?
How much do you take?

Magnesium is also needed as a supplement with Vitamin D as well as Vitamin K2 (if you're able to take that vitamin and not on meds that conflict with it).

Low Vitamin B12 can also cause issues and tends to be low if D is low. Your range needs to be over 500, closer to 1,000 is best.
