I need help!! I'm ready to give up!

I'm 26 years old and I've been really sick since I suffered from a miscarriage at the end of November. I'm not suggesting that the miscarriage has anything to do with it, but in case it does I just wanted to mention it. It's all a very long story but I'm worried about my CBC and urinalysis. I went to the ER on Sunday because I was so dizzy and my shortness of breath was getting worse (my usual symptoms) But I also had a pain in my upper left abdomen and my muscles in my arms and legs developed sudden weakness/numbness. I had a CBC and urinalysis done. The ER doctor didn't really say anything to me, he just gave me a script for Iron pills and a referral to see an Internist. I had a CBC done 3 weeks ago showing low RBC, low HGB and low HCT (everything else was normal) My newest results were a little puzzling and I was wondering if anyone could help me with a possible meaning. On my CBC the abnormals were as follows:

Lymphocyte, absolute: 3.12 (H)
Hemoglobin: 9.0 (L)
Hematocrit: 29.7 (L)
Prothrombin Time: 16.4 (H)

My WBC count was normal (9.17) but I thought it was weird that 3 weeks ago my WBC was 5.75

The abnormal results on my urinalysis were:

Protein,Qualitative, urine: 20
Ketones, urine: 60
RBC, urine: 4
WBC, urine: 12

Other than that everything else seemed normal. A nurse called me from the ER this morning telling me that I had a UTI and put in a prescription for me. So I was wondering, could all this be from a UTI? Or is there something else possible? If it's just from a simple UTI there is no reason for me to follow up with an Internist. Any help would be really appreciated.

in your upper left abdomen is your stomach. if you are having pain there and have low hemoglobin you may have bleeding ulcers. it is possible you had a UTI at the same time as having another problem.

I HAVE LOW H & H AND THEY SAY I AM ANEMIC THIS IS WHY THEY PROBABLY GAVE YOU IRON PILLS. I WOULD GO TO YOUR REGULAR DOCTOR WITH THIS INFORMATION THEY MIGHT RUN MORE TEST TO FIND OUT WHAT TYPE OF ANEMIA YOU HAVE. I WAS PUT ON IRON PILLS AND IT DIDN'T HELP I HAD TOGO TO OUR LOCAL CANCER CENTER TO GET IRON THROUGH IV ONCE A WEEK FOR 5 WEEKS THIS HELPED OUT FOR A WEE BIT I HAD HEAVY PERIODS AND THEY THOUGHT IT WAS DUE TO THAT OF LOOSING BLOOD HAD A HYSTO IN AUG, STILL VERY ANEMIC AND THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY I HAVE TO G BACK TO THE CANCER CENTER, NOT SAYING IT IS CANCER BY ANY MEANS, THIS DOCTOR SPECIALIZES IN BLOOD DISORDERS.
YOUR WBC COULD MEAN YOU HAD A VIRAL OR BACTERIA INFECTION AND THAT IS WHY IT WAS LOW
GOOD LUCK

I don't know if this will help much, but you can search the internet on questions on blood result and what abnormal counts may mean. For example you can type in what does a abnormal RBC urinalysis mean and it will give you possiblities that may be causing it. That's what I did with my lab reults. One because I'm not good at reading lab results it's like a foreign language to me lol. I hope this helps somewhat. I just wanted to throw that out there if you did'nt know. I hope things get better for you take care of yourself.
