I am taking two different prescription meds, but several supplements as well. I'm wondering if there's any of them I shouldn't take together, and what time of day I should take each of them. This is how I'm taking them now:
Morning - Lisinopril, omeprazole, fish oil, calcium, vitamin C.
Noon - Multivitamin, flaxseed oil, vitamin A, vitamin D-3.
Night - fish oil, calcium, vitamin C, Zyrtec.
Thanks!

well usually there is a guide included in your perscription. If there isn't. Or if there is call the Pharmacy were you got these medications and ask the Pharmacist.Being sure to add any thing special the Docter has said for you as far as allergies and conditions.or history point outs.and caution precautions. If you don't feel secure enough ask ypur Doctor.Or perscribing Doctor.

A pharmacist would give you reliable information on interractions and a possible lower zinc level from the lisinopril I think it was.

I am wondering though why you are taking a multivitamin as well as extra vit. A and D3 and calcium?

Zyrtec is for allergies, are you allergic to wool or animal danders? If you are, Vit D3 is made from wool or other animal skins through a special process.

If these are coated tablets they are harder to break down in the stomach and it can often not bring the benefits you want plus they have added ingredients that could irritate your stomach.

I don't mean to be a busy body, just thought you might like this extra information.

Thanks for getting back to me.
The reason I am taking extra Vitamin A is because my doctor put me on it after I had cancer surgery; when I finished the first bottle, I asked him if I should keep taking it, and he said yes. I'm taking extra D3 and calcium for my bones - I'm an almost-54-year-old, post-menopausal woman.
About the Zyrtec; They are not the coated capsules, and I don't seem to have a problem with it at all, except it seems to make me slightly drowsy, so I take it at night. I've never actually been tested for what all I'm allergic to, but I've had nasal allergies for as long as I can remember. I don't seem to have outdoor allergies; I breeze through pollen season while the rest of my family suffers through it. I'm not allergic to animals, either. I am allergic to dust, and probably mold and mildew.
I didn't know Lisinopril could cause a lower zinc level, though - thanks for that info...Have a blessed day!

I don't see any problems with the supplements and drugs, if want more info however, you could always ask a pharmacist.
