Intestinal Swelling

My husband is 29 years old, perfectly healthy, doesn't drink or do any drugs. 7 years ago he started swelling in odd places for no reason. The first time his testicles swelled to the size of coconuts, and when he went to the hospital they said he had Idiopathic Edema meaning swelling for no reason, the next year his intestines swelled to where on the CT scan it looked like he had swallowed a softball, the swelled closed and he ban to vomit blood, again he went to the hospital was inpatient for a week and still they had no answer, the next year his testicles swelled again, again we went to hospital still no answer, then this past week his intestines swelled again! Each time with no warning, all of a sudden he has extreme pain, there's no common foods to these incidents eand each time they run every test imaginable and come up with no answers. The Dr.s said at any time if this happens he could die if the intestines swell up to the pint that his organs shut down! I need answers!! I'm so scared and frustrated!! he's had catscans, endoscopys, colonoscopys and nothing gives us an answer!!! if anyone has something we can go one please help!!! I appreciate any leads i can get!!!
