Itchy arms

I am 26 years old and my right upper arm itches like crazy periodically throughout the day but mostly at night. I thought maybe dry skin because the weather is changing, but I saw something about lymphoma cancer and a symptom is itchy skin so I started worrying. The itch came out of no where and it feels under the skin. I can't seem to ease the itch. If it is just my right arm what could it be!?!

well I would go to the doctor. I had scavies twice. They are little crab like insects that get under your skin and cause you to itch really bad. They itchy feeling is them popping under your skin. (Sorry about the TMI). They start in one spot and work their way all over you body. You can get them from being dirty or very clean. They are also contagious. It is very easy to treat but also very easy to get again.

jenberger16  my doctor said i had prutitus what ever tat is he gave me  hydroxyzine hcl 25mg i tab daily is stopped the itching abd help relaxed me more.
