LOWER BACK/ SIDE PAINS ON MY LEFT SIDE..

LOWER BACK/ SIDE PAINS ON MY LEFT SIDE..

I am having lower back & left side pains that come and go. The pains on my left side also trigger pains through my pelvic area. These pains have occured o over the course of 4 years. My doctors continue to say constipation but I am regular and go around 2 times a day. No issues with going to the rest room and my stool is always soft with no blood. My pains feel like someone is stabbing me, and it comes without warning. After the side pains fade away my back pains remain and impact my ability to stand for long periods of time. I have not lifted anything heavy, nor am I preganant. I am in good health and have various test ran on me such as blood levels/kidneys/urine etc all come back with good results. I need help to find out what is causing my pain. One more thing to note is I had my gall bladder removed about 4 years ago and pains were around that time. Could it be an infection or possible complications with the surgery?

do you have bowel problems? I did  and had pain in the left side of my lower stomach and it turned out to be diverticulitis.  I now have a lleostomy because it went too long without a proper diagnois.  Ask your doctor about this.  It maybe  something to look at or maybe even gastroitis in your stomach.  But ask your family doctor who can refer you to a GI DOCTOR.  GOOD LUCK

I am glad you have seen a doctor and that all the test results were good. Now, I would suggest a visit to a chiropractor.  You could have some misalignment's of the upper and lower back, and if so, they are pinching on some nerves causing the trouble. You have no idea how much trouble out of alignment vertebrae can cause.

@  Londres70 : No xrays were done to my lower back ... my doctor has given me permission for a referral to see a GI doctor. My appointment is in a month :(

@ shortcat : Thank you for the information, I will ask when I have my appointment.

@ SassyLassie: Thanks for the info as well, all of this really helps and appreciate what you have shared :)
