Lexapro taper to Wellbutrin

Its being recommended for me to change from Lexapro to Wellbutrin due to attempting to treat symptons of ADD but my Psy says its not ADD. With the Holidays coming and My mom showing up for them, I dont want to be tapering off Lexapro while she is here for 3 weeks. Since Im only on 10MG of Lexapro can I chance getting on with Wellbutrin at this time?
Thanks have a Merry Christmas

I have to say I'm a little surprised your Dr recommended Wellbutrin since you have ADD. This is one of the more stimulating antidepressants. Wellbutrin and Lexapro are both antidepressants but are in also different. Of course I'm not a Dr and I'm sure your Dr has a reason for switching your meds. Can you call and ask him if you can wait until after the holidays to make the switch?
