Liver Enzymes

Liver Enzymes

I have seen this question posted numerous times but I have a question of my own.  I recently went to the doctor to have blood work which is routine for me because I am on adderall (adderrall).  I don't know if most people regularly have blood work done for this but I've known my family practice doctor my entire life and he couldn't live with himself if he gave me something that hurt me.  Anyway, when the blood work came back I had slightly elevated liver enzymes.  He told me that I more than likely didn't have anything to worry about because I am a fairly healthy person.  However, when he tested me again a few weeks later they were still elevated but not any higher than they were originally.

Here is what I'm wondering.  About the time of the first blood test where they noticed my elevated enzymes I started an ephedrine/caffeine stack.  I would say shortly before the first blood test.  That is 25mg ephedrine and 200 mg caffeine twice per day.  I realize this was stupid but desperation got the better of me.  What's even worse is that I am 6 ft and at the time was around 220...not really even that unhealthy. I took it for a few weeks, wised up and got off of it.  I've read a few forums that suggest it is possible the xenedrine or ephedrine I had taken could have caused them.  Like I said, they are only very slightly above what is normal.  Is it likely that is what caused the elevation?  I'm trying not to worry but when it's something dealing with your liver it can't be helped.  Thanks
