Loss of sensation - medical mystery

My husband is having loss of sensation on the right side of head including face, tongue, cheek, ear, and neck.  Accompanying the loss of sensation includes extreme migranes and joint and muscles aches (like hit by a bus).  Most of the pain seems to be on the right side but does hurt all over. He is not a fan of taking pain medicine and has taken limited - when needed only! All doctors look at him and say that's interesting but nobody has determined what the cause is. It is not the cause of an accident that we know of or of a bump on the head or anything like that.

Is your husband doing anything physical such as exercise or maybe his work is strenious,i am thinking maybe a pinched nerve or a trapped nerve, also migraines can affect you like this,as can being anxious escpecially when you are stressed about things because we tense up more and makes the joints and muscles hurt more.
