Low grade fever for 5 days

Hello all,

I've had a low grade fever off and on for the past 5 days. My temperature swings between normal (~37 C) to 37.7 C through the course of the day. When my temp is elevated, I feel tired and dizzy. I have no other symptoms except this fever. I started feeling very dizzy after taking 500 mg Keflex four times a day for six days to treat a skin infection. I developed the low grade fever on the seventh day. I haven't felt as dizzy since I've been off the Keflex but the fever still makes me slightly tired.

Is this something I should be worried about? (I'm an 18 y/o male)

One of the side effects produced in some patients who use Keflex is a low grade fever which can occur due to a hypersensitive allergic reaction to the drug. This happens with most of the antibiotics especially antibacterials.Dont worry.

I think I would ask your doctor about this, you could still have a low grade infection and it is best to get this looked into.
