Lumps on skin from ingrown hair

I keep getting ingrown hairs that turn into huge, lumps, they usually start with the ingrown hair and I squeeze it out , they usually then just stay a lump and constant squeezing pushes out oil and puss. I have one on my pubic hair and one on my left middle finger !!!! Please help how do I get rid of them? The lump on my finger has nothing coming out If squeezed now,  I have tried pulling the rest of the hair out and sticking pins in it to no avail. The one on my pubic region has very hard white puss coming out if squeezed really hard and has a smell. I need to prevent new ones and get rid of these, are there any creams? Or something?
