Mono

I slept out at my friends boat Friday night. That night I noticed that my face was warm, but I didn't think much about it. I then woke up around 7 am and drove home. When I was walking inside I noticed my face was swollen and that my whole body had a fine dotted rash all over my body. I figured it was an allergic reaction to something I had eaten or a bug so I took benedryl and fell asleep for a few hours. When I woke up nothing had changed. I then went to the walk-in clinic and the doctor had no idea, but tested me for strep and mono. I also had a fever of 100.1. The doctor told me the mono test came back positive. The only thing I do not understand is that my skin is still covered in a rash and my face is swollen, and it now looks like my skin is started to get more textured and bumpy. I also have no other symptoms of mono. My throat is fine, I have a regular appetite, my lymph nodes aren't swollen, I have no headaches, nor am I tired. Does this seem right?
