My urine smells so bad now now that I am sexually active! HELP!

I was a virgin until I met the man of my dreams in speech class in college six months ago. I was a 25 year old virgin, soon to be 26. And My bf was a virgin too. His dad had cancer so he had no time for dating and believe me...he was a virgin! well. I am on birth control and the first time we had sex, my bf refused to wear a condom. I figured im on birth control so whats the harm. well now when I pee it is so so so SO stront. It doesn't smell sweet, but almost spicy. Like a Teriyaki sauce gone sour. Its the only way to explain this. Even if I dont have sex with my bf for a week the smell is still there!!! I have my period now and with a tampon the pee smells worse. What should I do? Should I go to a doctors?

Did they send the urine out to be checked?  There have been plenty of times I didn't even know I had a UTI until the doctor called back with the lab results and put me on medication.

You need to go to a different doctor did they check you for stds. I have had the same problem and had an infection they had to treat me and my husband for. With creams and antibiotics. I also did develop a uti. And neither me or my husband have had sex with other people. We have been together for 24 years. So I would say go back to the doctor and be more persistant. Did the do a vaginal check on you? Do not let it go because if you have some form of infection it can effect you female organs and may cause you to become infertile.

You could have a urinary tract infection but it just hasn't gotten to the point where it is causing you pain while urinating.  You should go and see your OB/GYN as soon as you can.  They can do a urine test to see if there is bacteria present.
