Need Physical Therapist for Mother

I just received a call from a clinic telling me that my mother's insurance is inactive as of Jan. 1st, 2011. This is BS though, as she gave her referral to see a Physical Therapist, around Dec. 15. Why would they wait until now to tell her that her insurance is inactive. She is also an employee of the city, and has not been fired, so I don't see how her insurance is questionable at all. Anyway...I need a recommendation for a GOOD Physical Therapist in New York. My mother is 61 years old and has knee pain. She has already had an MRI done of the area.
