Non invasive prenatal paternity testing

I'm am currently in a serious relationship but briefly we broke up last year and I was with my ex for one night and had intercourse.. a week later my current boyfriend wanted to get back together and I we had intercourse.. I' was on birth control but got pregnant..after my boyfriend and I got pregnant.. I feel so ashamed with myself that I had slept with the both of them so I told my boyfriend and he wanted to get a paternity test done. So we got the noninvasive paternity test done when I was 16 weeks and now I'm currently 34 weeks.. We found out that it is his an not my ex boyfriends..I'm curious to hear about your opinion in the accuracy of this test. I went with a very reliable company that had been in medical journals about this test

Oh yes, that is a good company.  We all make mistakes sweetie.  That's how we learn.  I'm glad your boyfriend is with you and think it will all turn out fine.  Hang in there.  peace

Hi thank you for reponding to my question.. I used Ravgen and they seem pretty like a great company.. You truly believe I shouldn't worry.. I'm so ashamed with what I did and maybe it can be guilt..

Hi there.  Well, listen . . . this sounds like it is good news.  The test you've taken indicates that the baby is your current boyfriends.  And he is with you and seems to be a part of the pregnancy and looks to be with you after the baby is born.  This is great news for you and the baby.  If you looked into the experience of the company you used and they have good reviews and researched the type of test you had done, I think I would try to let this go.

It is true that the centers that perform these tests stand behind them and claim they are accurate.  Most likely, your test is accurate and your current boyfriend is the father.

So, do try to believe the test.  Once the baby is here, maybe you'll feel more sure one way or the other.  If you still have doubts then, you can conduct another test but I think you've covered your bases.

Best of luck to you and happy baby making!
