Not sure of what to do?

I am a 28 year old female. I was involved in a car accident back in June of this year. I hit head on at 50-55mph. I have had the back aches, neck aches, nerve pain, but also a pain that has been off and on just below my rib cage on the left side, and above my waistline more towards the side and front. . As I said, it has been off and on, ever since the accident occurred. Tonight, it feels different. It feels swollen deep inside right there, it is tender to the touch, and I feel it everytime I move. Plus I have been nauseated tonight, and sweating off and on. Just don't feel right. I did a CT scan a few weeks ago, but I don't think anything showed up in that area. Is it possible that I could have an injury there that is starting to get worse? I've always been healthy. Only surgery I have ever had was gall bladder removal in July '09. I'm trying to hold off from going to the ER until tomorrow am if possible, so that I may speak with my dr. first. I am just not sure if that is the wise thing to do. Could anyone give me advice on what this could be as well?

If your in pain and had a fairly recent accident go ahead to the hospital. You never know what kind of injuries you got after a car accident. I take it you had no broken ribs? It could be that your body was thrown out of adjustment and a Chiropractor could help. Be safe though and get to the hospital. They'll run tests and x-rays to find out what's going on. Let us know how your doing.  Remar
