Numbnesson rt side of face and rt hand

What is it that cause numbness in the following areas of the right side of the face: right side of nose, right side of lips (top & bottom), right side of tongue, right jaw from nose to outer cheek and right hand has tingling and numbness.  It effects my handwriting and makes it difficult to type, but the typing is better than the control of the writinghand. it doesn't get worse, stays the same and doesn't ease up. I have lived with lupus since age 20 but am not on any medication.  I take meds for hypertension, urinary incontinence, and low back pain and neither of these were taken since monday with never any problems to date. this is a new symptom i've never had.
