Pain in lower left side rib area

My daughter was playing soccer and she got hit in the lower part of her stomach, around the end of the left side rib area. She is complaining of pain when walking and when breathing. She also has a bruse in that area. Should I wait to see if the pain she fells is because of the hitand she just needs o rest or should I take her down to the hospital inmediately?

I would take her to see her Dr. If he/she thinks there's a possibility of a broken rib then they can do x-rays.You probably should call first to see if they're equipped to do that.If not, then take her to the hospital or a med center.  If it is a broken rib there's really not much they can do for her except bind her and give her pain meds.
She is in pain so it's better to be safe and find out what's going on. Please let us know how she's doing. Take care. Remar
