Pituitary tumor - anxiety sweating

I am a 36 year old male; I was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor around
four years ago and prescribed Dostinex 0.5mg once a week. Have been
taking it ever since and overall it has worked great.
One issue I am dealing with which I don't know if it is in any way
related, is that I am occasionally having what I guess could be
described as anxiety/panic attacks. They come in different forms. One
form is that occasionally if I get even slightly flustered (social or
work setting) my body heats up and I break into a sweat.
This started about one year after I started taking Dostinex so I don't
know if it is related in any way, I mentioned it in passing to my
Endocrinologist once and he said it is not related.

Any thoughts, experiences that relate to this would be greatly
appreciated.

A.T.

I have a pituitary tumor (prolactinoma) that I am on bromocriptin mesylate for and I have anxiety problems and panic attacks that I never had before.  I think it is the tumor and not the meds because I was experiencing it before they started treating with meds.  The endo says it is not related to the tumor but I am certain that it must be.  I have found many other people online who say the same thing.

Is there any one who found out that theyhave pitutary tumor after taking lexapro for about a year for anxiety problem? I amwondering whether the anxiety medications can cause pitutary tumor. Also, if a person takes medication for pitutary tumor, like gabergoline, will  he be having anxiety problem? If so how canhe get rid of the anxiety?

My son has a pituitary tumor/cyst (they're not sure). He began having panic attacks after he was started on replacement hormones, thyroid and cortisol. His panic attacks seem more related to adrenal insufficiency than anything else.
The attacks aren't very often now. Instead, he has developed insomnia. His sleep\wake cycle is completely reversed.
I asked the doctor about Cabergoline, because his prolactin is high (for a 12-year-old), but they think he might have a cyst, so he wouldn't benefit from it.

I would think that it could very well be related.  I mean the dopamine receptor agonist I would assume somehow effect mood and seretonine levels.  I am on dostinex and I was concerned with it effecting the lexapro I take for depression and anxiety.  I asked the pharmacist and he said they'd be safe together.  I had my anxiety before the start of dostinex, but, I think the side effects of the dostinex cause me a lot of trouble and since have had an increase in anxiety even with the lexapro.

Can I ask what symptoms your tumor caused you?  Elevated prolactin?  How long does your dr. suspect you'll have to take the Dostinex?  I just started mine....
