Renida:

Usually symptoms of Potassium deficiencies are mild and subtle. The most common symptoms are: irregular heartbeat, vomiting, nausea, tingling/numbness, cramping, and tiredness/weakness.

This is a serious issue, requiring emergency intervention to treat it immediately with medications, as Potassium plays a vital role in regulating the heart muscle and is a vital electrolyte in the body and normal levels must always be preserved.

Common causes of Potassium deficiency are: diet, underlying health issues (Leukemia or renal problems), medication interactions. The problem is usually only a problem in senior citizens.
