Pressure in head.

I have had this high pressure in my head maybe 3-4 inches right above my right ear. It went on for about 9 days, and with it were the following symptoms: Vomiting, Dificult speech, SOME memory issues, trouble concentrating, and Drowsiness. I went to the ER and they gave me an IV with Sodium Chloride, Tramddol, Phenergan, Benadryl. It worked on taking the feeling of pressure away. Upon leaving, the doctor prescribed Vicodine, Prescription strength Ibuprofen, and anti- nausea medications. This was 8/22/2011. Today, I was fine for a while, but around 5:30am, I started feeling the pressure. I took an Ibuprofin, and a Vicodine, and I still feel the pressure. I ate breakfasts, fell back to sleep, and now I am having very strange sleep patterns. I am wanting to get a second opinion before I just assume anything, but the doctor said I should get a CT scn, and a Lumbar Puncture. Is there anything this could be?
