Pulsation in head and my back

Thank you in advance for anyone that takes the time to read my post, I'll make it as quick and detailed as I can. first off I'm male, 6'3 230, 22 years of age, pretty active male. I was diagnosed with hypertension in November I'm not sure how long I've had it...I'm currently seeing a cardiologist that has me currently on losartan 100mg/25mg hctz...my blood pressure tends to average about 130/75 right now(with meds). I had a sinus infection in December that lasted over a month and a half..(none of these symptoms was present before this) since January....I have a weird pressure/fluidly feeling that comes in the back of my head with a pulsating beat, and I'll get pressure above my nose...and I can touch the back of my head and feel a pulse on both sides....I can also feel my head pulsing without touching it. I'm wondering if this could be from the bad sinus infection I once had, or a blood pressure problem, or worse? It worrys me because I don't think its normal and I never felt this way before the high Bp/ sinus infection. I tell my Nuerologist and he dismisses it as allergies? I've had a head MRI done and came back normal, also a head ct scan was normal. I had a heart echo done in March it was also normal.. What could this be??

This may help you, look up Dr. Brownstein's site and click on the picture of his book Salt:Your way to health. Blood pressure and headaches are 2 of the problems listed that are included in the book. There is a huge difference between common white table salt and a healthy salt such as Himalayan salt or Real Salt (that is the name, it is mined from Utah). The healthy salts have over 80 minerals compared to common white table salt only having sodium and chloride in addition to fillers, flow agents, etc. If that info doesn't help, you can check doctor yourself by Andrew Saul for free info, or find a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition practitioner who will help you get to the cause and treat it with natural methods.

Saylor,
Sounds like that has been frustrating.  It is an unusual symptom that you describe, but given your normal head CT and MRI, you can feel assured that the bad things like aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, etc are not the cause.  If you check your blood pressure during these episodes and find that your blood pressure is high, then that may be the cause of these pulsating beats.  If you have trouble with headaches, sometimes atypical migraines or tension headaches can have similar symptoms described by patients.  I doubt that this is still related to your sinus infection (if you were having hearing, balance problems than that could be a different story).  Hope you get to feeling better soon.
