Rash on Chest

I'm a 20 year old female, who has recently been put on cipralex for panic attacks and anxiety. About a week ago I came out in a strange red rash on my chest. I have also been experiencing blurring vision and lightheadedness several times a day. Usually when I wake up in the morning I have had quite bad headaches which usually pass within an hour of being awake. I'm worrying whether this could be the medication or something else. Should I go to a doctor or is it anxiety related? I would be grateful for any help :)

I was on Cipralex for the same reasons. I will completely honest with you-- I will never, ever repeat my experience. The lightheadedness and blurred vision didn't bother me as much as the weight gain, which piled on quickly in 2 months. I had never had a problem with my metabolism in my entire life, and was quite underweight when I started the meds. I am still now trying to get off the weight, and almost 4 months have passed.
How long have you been on it? If it is soon enough to quit cold turkey, I would toss those babies out the window and try something natural that your body can recognize. If you need to ween yourself off, I would start that process right away.
Cipralex was my second bad experience with anti-anxiety medication and I know many who will agree that the side effects are not worth it. They just give you a whole new set of problems to deal with. It is outrageous how they hand out these meds like candy, especially to young women like us.
My suggestion would be to look into the natural remedies that have been around for centuries and work in such better harmony with your body. I use one with St John's Wort and Kava Kava and it works great.

Send me a message if you need more tips!

All the best,
Brittany

Hi, thanks for the reply I've been on them for about a month. I've also started to experience weight gain as well as the other unwanted side effects. If the side effects continue I might try something else. Thank you for all your help :)
